Visual Arts Department
We offer a wide range of workshops, projects, training and production services our in visual arts department, including: mural-making, exhibition creation, graffiti art, photography, digital design and publishing, arts workshops, digital and multi-media projects, design and print services, web design and training, etc.
As well as offering a broad range of activities, our workshops and projects can be tailored to cater for all kinds of different groups, ages and needs, and can range from taster sessions to more in-depth and extensive projects.
Although creatively focused, these visual arts learning activities
can also offer participants the development of valuable and transferable
social skills and experiences through collaborative creation, the
exploration of issues and identities through arts and media, building
self confidence through self-representation and creating high quality
pieces of art work as a result of this process. In addition, much
of the art work created by individuals and groups with Valley and
Vale has gained much acclaim, touring throughout Wales and beyond
and exhibited in a wide range of settings, from outdoor public
art and environment projects, to museums, community centres, arts
venues, conferences and events.
