Selma Chalabli was born in Britain to an Iraqi father and an English mother. Unable to visit her Dad's homeland in the current climate, and frustrated by the British media's portrayal of Iraq, she sets out on a journey to visit her relatives and capture their views. Her journey takes her to London, Birmingham, Winchester and Vienna. The result is an intimate insight into the thoughts and feelings of a family caught up in the local global politics of the time.
